Job Summary:
Mississauga Secondary Academy (MSA) is seeking passionate, creative, and driven Marketing Specialists to join our Admissions team. In this role, you will help shape the future of our school by promoting MSA’s offerings, engaging with prospective students and their families, and driving inquiries and enrollments. If you're excited about marketing and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and potentially transition into a paid position.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage multiple social media accounts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) to ensure consistent and engaging brand presence.
· Manage and Develop and publish organic, creative, and visually appealing posts, videos, and other content tailored for different social media platforms to engage with the target audience.
· update the Marketer Customized Page to promote and highlight school products, services, and key initiatives, ensuring the page reflects the brand's identity and objectives.
· Leverage CRM software and data analytics tools to track and engage with current and prospective students, optimizing communication strategies for better outreach and conversion rates.
· Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the institution’s academic programs and attract prospective students.
· Create engaging content for various platforms (website, social media, email campaigns, brochures) to communicate the value and benefits of the institution's offerings
· Analyzing market trends and student demographics to identify target audiences and tailor marketing campaigns effectively
· Collaborate with Admissions and Academic Departments to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with institutional goals and key messaging.
· Manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, paid search ads, social media ads, and content marketing, to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
· Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, utilizing tools like Google Analytics, to adjust strategies to improve outcomes
· Assist in organization of recruitment events, such as webinars, campus tours, and open houses, to engage potential students and provide information on academic programs.
· Recruitment, including student recruitment for the institution
· Meet established key performance indicators (KPIs) related to student recruitment and marketing objectives. Subject to change.
Qualifications:
· Education: Completed Grade 12 Ontario Secondary Diploma and/or above.
· Experience: Not required but passionate in Marketing
Additional Skills:
· Proficient in English. Second Language is an asset (Mandarin, Arabic, etc...)
· Organized, flexible, and reliable.
· Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
· Positive attitude and confidence in customer service interactions.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), QuickBooks, and social media platforms.
· Familiarity with design software such as Photoshop and Canva.
· Experience with email marketing tools like MailChimp.
